The restaurant is crammed and the picnic table seating was uncomfortable. Staff were pleasant and accommodating to move us to another table.
I ordered a dish and specifically asked for non-spicy. The waitress said it was not spicy, despite the chili symbol on the menu. After removing the chilies I could find, the dish was so spicy, my face felt paralyzed. I could not taste it to tell you if it was good or not. My two other friends, one who loves spicy, also said it was extremely spicy. I had to trade dishes with my husband and he also agreed it was too spicy and unpleasant. However, his Bo Ne Bone Marrow dish was delicious.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my visit to Markham Electric Piggy today to celebrate Father's Day. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by extremely poor service. My meal order was entirely forgotten, and even after reminding our older male server, my food never came. My wife and two kids had finished their meals while I sat without food. As a customer who always tips well, I was deeply frustrated by the lack of care and the fact that a simple apology was offered with no attempt to rectify the situation. Soooo.... good. They recommended their Famous Piggy Chop sandwich- great taste. Almost a meal in itself and I don't know how they turn a profit on it at only $5.99.
We had two other dishes that I can't pronounce, but absolutely delicious.
The place has a really nice vibe, I felt like I was on vacation somewhere.
Next time in Markham we'll look to come back.

There was initially a mixup with the order contents, but the manager was very gracious in his response and made up for it. He went above and beyond, and I appreciate the honesty.
